Who is Velco
Velco was founded in 1982 by Vince and Theresa Vellow. It has been operated proudly and continuously since then. In early 2021, Velco was acquired by a group of Sudbury based investors. Velco represented a solid platform from which to grow the business from a precision based custom machine shop to a modern leading edge production machining facility.
Continuous improvement processes, cost reduction initiatives, ERP implementations, CNC software upgrades, capital equipment upgrades have all been implemented or initiated. An expansion is currently underway.
